Pinot Noir can now be found in many of the wine producing countries of the world, but its origins are in Burgundy where it is most at home. It is a difficult grape to grow, but if you get it right the results are sensational.
Adamas Pinot Noir has elegance and feminine charm. Relax with a glass of Pinot, try it chilled with coffee after dinner and enjoy some of the unique flavours of Burgundy. Like our Chardonnay, Adamas Pinot Noir is delicious now, there is no need to wait.

Meursault is a small village on the Côte de Beaune renowned for setting the benchmark for Chardonnay on which wines have been measured from all corners of the world. The method of vinification and ageing of Chardonnay in oak casks was pioneered by the Cistercian monks in Meursault and there is no comparison to this legendary terroir that creates a wine of exceptional charm.
Adamas Meursault has richness and complexity. It should be served slightly chilled and it is delicious at any time of the day or night, with or without food, but must be shared with good friends.

There are few places on earth that can express the charm of this noble grape variety better than the tiny hamlet of Volnay. In the middle ages, the Dukes and Duchesses of Bourgogne were some of the first to discover this unique location where the wines are the result of a perfect balance between terroir and climate. Volnay is dedicated to the production of Pinot Noir and it is here that one finds the expression of Pinot at its most fine and elegant.
Adamas Volnay is the essence of feminine charm and although it can be enjoyed now, it will benefit from a short period of ageing. Excellent for candle-lit dinners with very close friends.

Nuits Saint Georges is one of the most famous names in Burgundy. Four hundred years ago, Louis XIV was very fond of this Pinot Noir which was recommended to him by his doctors. More recently, the Apollo XV lunar mission named a crater on the moon in honour of this great wine!
Adamas Nuits Saint Georges has the finesse of Pinot Noir together with the masculine structure typical of this great Burgundy village. It can be enjoyed now and should be served at lunch or dinner with family, friends and lovers of the good things in life.

One of Burgundy’s greatest wines, its character is in complete contrast to its next-door neighbour Volnay. The wines of Pommard express all the intensity of the terroir and show the power and charisma of Pinot Noir. Victor Hugo, the 19th century French poet and writer, greatly enjoyed the wines of Pommard and credited them with giving him “a puff of inspiration and sometimes even genius”.
Adamas Pommard premier cru is one of the world’s great wines and benefits from a degree of ageing. It is excellent with roast lamb after a long walk in the countryside.

Situated in the same commune as the great Montrachet wine, Puligny Montrachet is one of Burgundy’s gems of which the very name has become associated with quality and luxury. The terroir of this great village brings out the minerality and liveliness in the Chardonnay grape variety.
Adamas Puligny Montrachet Premier Cru is dynamic and has tremendous power and complexity whilst retaining its finesse. It
is delicious now but will benefit from a short period of ageing. It should be served slightly chilled and is superb with gently poached salmon after a hard day at the office. It is one of the world’s great wines.

Situated on a chalk mound in the village of Puligny Montrachet, the terroir of this unique vineyard produces a wine of exceptional richness, concentration and complexity. Thomas Jefferson once said that Montrachet was the world’s greatest white wine and today few would disagree with him. This most noble of wines is rare and very fine indeed.
Adamas Montrachet will develop extraordinary complexity if aged for a few years, by those who can wait, for those who cannot wait it should be served gently chilled.
